At Sorted Direct Mail, we’re committed to reducing our impact on the environment. From recycling all of our materials where we can, to prioritising recycled plastic over single-use plastics, we’re doing everything we can to become a carbon neutral business.

Choosing to install solar panels makes perfect sense for the business - we can reduce our reliance on fossil fuels, and power our distribution centre through renewable energy from the sun. 

The deadline for the quotation is the beginning of October, and we’re looking for installation to take place early next year. 

We wish to select and appoint a suitable contractor for the design, supply and installation of the 400/450 KW Solar Panel system and invites suppliers to submit a tender to meet our requirements:

• 70 400/450W solar panels 

• Cabling and roof mounting

• Electrical infrastructure work

• Scaffolding, skip and lifting equipment

• Commissioning and MCS registration

• Phase 3 inverter

• Phase 3 battery for storage

We have a south facing roof with 30 degree pitched corrugated metal sheeting construction. Our annual energy usage is 28,000 kWh.
